"These guys – they kill people who asks too many questions." MGM+ has revealed the full official trailer for a series called The Westies , a new mobster series set in New York City. Set in the 1980s telling the story of the Irish mafia, known as "The Westies" who run the west side of the city, feuding with Italian mafia with many more men. The series features Oscar-winning actor J.K. Simmons in the lead role as mafioso Eamon Sweeney. In 1980s Hell's Kitchen, the Westies crime gang eyes profits from the Javitz Center construction. Though vastly outnumbered by Italian mafia, their brutality earns them a share. Internal conflict between the brash younger generation & old-school leadership threatens to set a match to this powder keg, which will sweep the Westies into the FBI's investigation into the Italian mafia.
