Amazon Becomes First SVOD Service To Report Gender Pay Figures In The UK – Men Earn 56% More Than Women

Amazon Video has become the first SVOD service to publish its gender pay statistics in the UK and the numbers do not make for happy reading. The company pays men 56% more than women on a mean basis and 40.1% on a median basis. The online broadcaster's bonus scheme doesn't make the picture any rosier for Amazon Video's female employees with men earning 71.8% more on a mean basis and 67.4% on a median basis.
