CAA Signs ’24’ & ‘BlacKkKlansman’ Star Corey Hawkins

EXCLUSIVE: CAA just signed Corey Hawkins, who starred in Fox’s 24: Legacy after a breakout turn in Straight Outta Compton as Dr Dre. Hawkins made the move from ICM Partners after starring as civil rights leader Stokley Carmichael in BlacKkKlansman, the Spike Lee-directed film that just won the Grand Prix at Cannes and is set for release in August by Focus Features. The frightmasters at Blumhouse have come up with their most terrifying idea yet! They’re developing…*checks notes*…a  Fantasy Island movie! Yes, that’s right – a film based on the 1970s Aaron Spelling series about an island where all your dreams can come true…for a price.  Jeff Wadlow , who directed Blumhouse’s  Truth or Dare , will helm the TV-to-film adaptation.
