Kevin Bacon Takes Inspiration From Martin Scorsese & Sidney Lumet In Showtime’s ‘City On A Hill’ – TCA

Kevin Bacon, star of Showtime's forthcoming drama City on a Hill, said that he was attracted to the Boston crime thriller as it reminded him of Martin Scorsese and Sidney Lumet movies from the 1970s. Bacon plays corrupt yet venerated FBI veteran Jackie Rohr in the series, which was written by Chuck MacLean (Boston Strangler) and based on an original idea by Ben Affleck. The frightmasters at Blumhouse have come up with their most terrifying idea yet! They’re developing…*checks notes*…a  Fantasy Island movie!
