Whether you're in hanging out at home alone, spending the time with family or friends, or just with your partner; or whether it's snowing or sunny where you are, we hope you have a lovely weekend full of relaxation and warmth and smiles. Yet another year of the pandemic has added stress, but movies have still kept us entertained and moved and inspired. Thanks for reading and thanks for following FS throughout this latest year. I'm glad we've all been able to revel in many exciting movies from 2021 - The Matrix Resurrections, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Dune, The Power of the Dog, Godzilla vs Kong, Barb and Star, Candyman, Malignant, and No Time To Die. Stay safe, movie lovers. News and trailers always slow down during the holidays, but we'll be operating at full-speed again by 2022. Now available to watch as of Christmas Day: Matthew Vaughn's delayed sequel The King's Man, Lana Wachowski's long-awaited sequel The Matrix Resurrections, Illumination's sequel Sing 2, George Clooney's latest film The Tender Bar, the football drama American Underdog, Denzel Washington's drama A Journal for Jordan, a wide expansion with Paul Thomas Anderson's Licorice Pizza; plus the Netflix debut of Adam McKay's end of the world satire Don't Look Up. The frightmasters at Blumhouse have come up with their most terrifying idea yet! They’re developing…*checks notes*…a  Fantasy Island movie! Yes, that’s right – a film based on the 1970s Aaron Spelling series about an island where all your dreams can come true…for a price.  Jeff Wadlow , who directed Blumhouse’s  Truth or Dare , will helm the TV-to-film adaptation.
