Paramount+ has unveiled an official trailer for the next new Taylor Sheridan thriller series called Landman, set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas. Once again about greed & power. After all of his mega success with the western series, Sheridan has been creating more crime / mob / greed series including Tulsa King and Special Ops: Lioness. This is his next new creation, based on a podcast about the oil world in Texas. A modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. The series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it's reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics. The frightmasters at Blumhouse have come up with their most terrifying idea yet! They’re developing…*checks notes*…a  Fantasy Island movie!
