Aura Ent. revealed a final promo trailer for the sci-fi action thriller titled Worldbreaker, a post-apocalyptic creature feature movie opening in theaters this week. The latest from gritty genre filmmaker Brad Anderson. "This world has been broken many times." On a remote island, Willa lives under the watch of her father, a battle-scarred vet who trains her to survive while her mother fights monstrous "Breakers" creatures on the front lines. When a girl washes ashore, Willa discovers the war they fled has found them—and she must choose to run or fight. In a world ravaged by otherworldly creatures called Breakers, Willa and her father survive alone. As the Breakers close in, Willa and Dad must prepare for the real battle still ahead. 'The Originals' Star Joseph Morgan Set for Lead Role in Fox Pilot

"The Originals" might be coming to an end, but fans may not be without Joseph Morgan for long. The actor has a new project in the works: He is set to star in the pilot of an untitled Fox drama based on the book "Gone, Baby, Gone," Deadline reports. That means he'll play Patrick Kenzie, a Boston-based private detective who partners with his lover, Angie Gennaro, to solve cases. The 1998 novel was written by Dennis Lehane and is the fourth book in the Kenzie and Gennaro detective series. The work was adapted for film by Ben Affleck and Aaron Stockard as 2007's "Gone Baby Gone." Affleck directed the movie, which starred his brother, Casey Affleck, alongside Michelle Mongahan. Like the book, the film centers on the disappearance of a girl named Amanda McCready. Miramax joins 20th Century Fox TV on the project, having distributed the movie.
